Molenmaker Techniek B.V. has been commissioned by the province of Zeeland to rebuild the drive of the flood and ebb doors from the outer head of the Little Lock to a hydraulic drive. In 2016 we already made the drive of the doors of the inner head hydraulic. The hydraulic installation consists of two units arranged on either side of the lock in an outdoor installation cabinet. Each door has a cylinder with a bore of 180 mm, a rod of 120 mm with a Nickel / Chrome cover and a stroke of 1850 mm. The cylinders are equipped with an analogue road measuring system and have a gimbal suspension. The hydraulic unit has an electronically controlled plunger pump with which the speed of the movement of the doors can be adjusted.
The installations were delivered in June 2018.
