Environment
Our current location at Wagenmakerstraat 14 was completed in 2011 and has been built in a sustainable manner in terms of insulation and the use of materials, the building is heated and cooled by means of geothermal energy. The same also applies to our newest building at Wagenmakerstraat 12 (completed in 2017).
We persue an active policy to avoid environmentally unfriendly effects, both office and workplace/projects, as much as possible.
In order to persue and safeguard this way of working, we decided in 2022 to certify ourselves for the CO2-Performance ladder. This ladder was developed by the Stichting Klimaatvriendelijk Aanbesteden en Ondernemen (SKAO).
The CO2 performance ladder is an instrument to encourage companies to act CO2 consciously. This mainly concerns knowledge of our own CO2 emissions, measures to reduce these emissions, communication about this and coöperation with other parties in the field of environmental initiatives.
In 2023, we first want to certify at level 3 of the ladder and then, also in 2023, as quickly as possible to level 5, in accordance with the manual CO2 performance ladder 3.1, June 2020 edition.
