Krammerlock/Hansweertlock Zeeland

Commissioned by Knook Staal en Machinebouw,  Molenmaker Techniek B.V. has overhault 8 cylinders of the krammerlock, as well Molenmaker Techniek B.V. engineered and manufactured the new hydraulic drives for the Hansweertlocks.

The Philipsdam and the Krammerlocks separte the fresh water of the Volkerrak side from the salt water of the Oosterschelde. Besides the separation of the water, the Krammer Locks in the Philips Dam ensure that the busy shipping route between Zeeland and the major rivers remains available.
